Leaf Wall Art

If you are very much into nature art but don’t really fancy yourself an artist, that’s okay. We have just the perfect art project for you. It is beautiful and simple and anyone can do it, even kids!

This leaf wall art project can light up any room in your home. Just find a few leaves out in your yard or in your nearby park that stand out to you and then you can get started on your art project!

Materials: Leaves, paint, paint tray, spray paint - should be a much different color than the paint, garbage bag and a canvas.

Instructions: Lay the garbage bag flat on the table. This will protect the table from any paint. Put the canvas on top of the garbage bag. Dip one side of a leaf into the paint and then press it onto the canvas. Do not work too slowly as the paint might dry if you wait too long. Leave the leaf on the canvas and repeat with the next leaf. When you are done, spray paint the entire canvas. Peel off the leaves and discard. Let your art dry. Now it is ready to display!

Toilet tube wall art

Toilet Tube Wall Art

Do you wish you could fill up your walls with unique and creative wall art that isn’t as expensive as the art you find in home goods stores? If only you could find the inspiration to paint something truly beautiful. Beautiful doesn’t always have to be complicated.

Try making your own wall art that is simple, but still nice to look at. Unleash your inner artist and create a beautiful, simple work of art with some art supplies and a toilet paper tube! Your guests won’t know you didn’t buy the art you’re making!

Materials: Toilet paper tubes, paint, paint tray and a blank canvas.

Instructions: Lay the canvas on a flat surface. Pour the paint into the paint tray. Dip one edge of the tube into the paint and stamp it onto the canvas so that a circle is stamped onto the canvas. Repeat this across the canvas, dipping the tube into the paint tray when necessary. Another variation you can try is to take a pair of scissors and cut into the opening of the toilet paper tube. Cut equally sized lines going around the toilet paper tube. You can even draw a line around the circumference of the tube using a marker. Now you will have strips of the tube. Fold each strip outward and onto the tube, not inside. When you are done, put that side of the tube into the paint and stamp onto the canvas. The shape that appears should look like sun-rays or flower petals.
